The collision happened Thursday afternoon on the campus of Buffalo Trail Elementary School.

AURORA, Colo. — No one was injured when a school bus rolled into a mobile unit on the property of an Aurora elementary school Thursday afternoon, according to Cherry Creek School District.

The collision happened just after 3 p.m. on the campus of Buffalo Trail Elementary School on Progress Drive in southeastern Aurora.

A Cherry Creek School District spokesperson said about 18 students were on the bus at the time. First responders evaluated the students on the scene, and there were no injuries.

The district asked those students’ families to pick them up.

The exterior wall of the mobile unit was damaged. School had been let out for the day, and no one was in the unit at the time, the spokesperson said.

The district said Aurora Police are investigating what caused the bus to roll into the unit.
