Alamosa Police said Henry Corral is a person of interest in a shooting that killed a person and injured two more at the Sunset Inn Hotel located on West 8th Street.
ALAMOSA, Colo. — Alamosa Police Department is searching for search for a person of interest in a shooting that killed a person and injured two more at a hotel Sunday morning.
Officers responded around 2:04 a.m. for a report of shots fired at the Sunset Inn Hotel located on West 8th Street and discovered three gunshot victims.
Police Chief George Dingfelder said one victim died and the other victims were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, according to KRDO in Colorado Springs.
A person of interest identified as Henry Corral left the scene and was then involved in a crash in the area of County Road 106 and Road 12 South, police said.
He attempted to carjack a vehicle before leaving the area on foot, according to police.
Officers are actively searching for Corral and a reverse 911 call was sent out to the surrounding area warning residents.
Corral is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to stay away and call 911.
