The shooting happened Monday morning at 78th Avenue and Dahlia Street.
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Commerce City Police Department is looking for a person of interest in connection to a Monday morning shooting that left one person dead.
Police are looking for 19-year-old Angel Lozano. Lozano is 5 feet, 10 inches and about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, according to police. Lozano was last seen wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, police said.
Lozano may be having a mental health crisis and could be armed and dangerous, according to police. Anyone who sees Lozano or knows his whereabouts, contact 911 immediately.
The shooting happened near East 78th Avenue and Dahlia Street in Commerce City. Police believe Lozano and the victim knew each other.
Police are asking the public not to approach Lozano.
