The crash happened Monday afternoon near West 64th Avenue and Lamar Place.
ARVADA, Colo. — One person died in a four-car crash in Arvada Monday afternoon, police said.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. at West 64th Avenue and Lamar Place. That intersection is between Wadsworth Boulevard and Sheridan Avenue in Arvada.
“We do believe drugs or alcohol are involved in this crash,” David Snelling with Arvada Police said.
Snelling said one person died on the scene. Several other people were taken to the hospital. It’s unclear how many people were injured or how severe their injuries were.
One of the cars involved went into a nearby house. Police said it appeared no one was home at the time.
