Silt police say the incident occurred Saturday night at the Miner’s Claim restaurant.
SILT, Colo. — Silt police were called to an incident involving U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert and her ex-husband, Jayson Boebert, on Saturday night, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred at the Miner’s Claim restaurant located at 740 Main Street in Silt, Colorado, the police said.
Silt Police Chief Mike Kite confirmed to The Denver Gazette that “Boebert and her ex-husband, Jayson, were involved.” He said he plans to go through any surveillance tape, if any. “We are treating this case no differently than we would anyone else,” he said.
Boebert filed for divorce from Jayson Boebert, her then-husband of nearly 18 years, in May, citing “irreconcilable differences.” She called the announcement “difficult” and said she doesn’t intend to discuss the matter further in public.
The divorce was finalized in October. Boebert and Jayson Boebert married in 2005. They have four sons.
