Photos released of suspects in Aurora 7-Eleven shooting

Police said the men got into a confrontation at the store near East Hampden Avenue and South Chambers Road in Aurora and during it, gunfire was exchanged.

AURORA, Colo. — Aurora Police on Tuesday released photos of two men they said were wanted in connection with a shooting at a convenience store on Friday that injured two people.

According to police, the two men were involved in a confrontation at the 7-Eleven store located in the 15000 block of East Hampden Avenue. That’s near the intersection with South Chambers Road.

During that confrontation, there was an exchange of gunfire. A woman and a teenage boy were both wounded in the shooting, police said. The woman has since been released from the hospital. The boy remains in the hospital.

Photos released Tuesday show one of the suspects was wearing an orange shirt. He has tattoos on his neck, face, and head and may go by “Demon.” He was last seen driving a gold Cadillac sedan, police said.


The other man was seen wearing a red, white, and dark blue Polo jacket.  The men are “armed and dangerous,” according to police, and should not be approached. If you see them, you’re urged to call 911.

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
