Video posted to social media showed Jane’s Addiction lead singer Perry Farrell screaming at guitarist Dave Navarro and throwing a punch.

BOSTON — A concert in Boston ended abruptly Friday night when members of Jane’s Addiction got into a fight on stage.

According to the setlist, the incident happened at the end of the eleventh song of the show, “Ocean Size.”

Video posted to social media shows lead singer Perry Farrell screaming at guitarist Dave Navarro and throwing a shoulder into him as the song was ending. The two men appear to argue before Farrell throws a punch at Navarro.

At that point, the band’s crew stepped in, separating the men and pulling Farrell offstage.

Navarro and the rest of the band are then seen acknowledging the crowd before leaving the stage, ending the show.

As of Saturday morning, the band had not released any statements on the incident. They are scheduled to play more than a dozen shows through October 16.

Jane’s Addiction was formed in Los Angeles in 1985 by Farrell and bassist Eric Avery, who were joined later by Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins after they worked through various guitarists and another drummer.

The band has split multiple times in the past, but has been performing regularly since 2008.
