WASHINGTON — Adam Harrison, one of the sons of “Pawn Stars” creator and star Rick Harrison, has died. He was 39 years old.
“Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss,” a statement on behalf of the family and shared with multiple media outlets said.
Further details about his death have not been released by the family. TMZ was first to report on his passing Friday. The outlet also reported that the Las Vegas Metro Police Department is investigating the case.
Rick Harrison posted a tribute Friday night on Instagram and Facebook to his son: “You will always be in my heart. I love you Adam.”
According to reports, while Adam Harrison worked at Gold & Silver Pawn previously he had not been employed there recently.
Rick Harrison had two sons, Adam and Corey, with his first wife, Kim. He also has another son, Jake, with his second wife, Tracy. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, he also has three daughters, Sarina, Ciana and Marissa.
