Northbound I-225 reopens in Aurora after closure

AURORA, Colo. — The northbound lanes of Interstate 225 have reopened following a closure Monday morning.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) said at 5:30 a.m. Monday that the northbound lanes of I-225 were closed at 6th Avenue. 

Some lanes of northbound I-225 were allowing traffic to flow through by 6 a.m. Monday.

Delays should be expected on northbound I-225 from Alameda Avenue to 6th Avenue.
