Denver police are looking for a gray Dodge Avenger that was involved in a crash that killed a man on Aug. 3.
DENVER — Police in Denver are looking for a car that was involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a man.
According to a Medina Alert from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the crash happened on Aug. 3 near Federal Boulevard and 1st Avenue.
The car is a gray 2011 Dodge Avenger with temporary Colorado license plate 6338564, according to the alert. It was last seen at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Newton Street and 1st Avenue. It was identified as the suspect vehicle on Thursday.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified the victim as Walter Salcido-Luna, 31.
Denver Police said Salcido-Luna was struck by two drivers. The first one hit him while he was on a motorcycle. The second one hit him while he was on the ground. They’re still looking for the second driver.
