Marvel Studios has found its Fantastic Four. The movie’s new cast and release date were announced in a Valentine.

LOS ANGELES — After years of rumors, Marvel Studios has finally announced the cast and release date for its take on the “Fantastic Four” comic book franchise.

“The Fantastic Four” will be released in theaters July 25, 2025, Marvel Studios announced on Valentine’s Day.

Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn will play the Fantastic Four, the company said Wednesday.

Pascal, currently seen in “The Mandalorian” and “The Last of Us,” will be the new film’s Reed Richard/Mr. Fantastic. Kirby, the award-nominated actor from “The Crown” and “Napoleon,” will star as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman.

Quinn, best known for “Stranger Things,” will play Sue’s brother, Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, while Moss-Bachrach will star as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

“The Fantastic Four” will be helmed by “WandaVision” director Matt Shakman.

While there have already been three “Fantastic Four” movies, released in 2005, 2007 and 2015, the 2025 film is the first from Disney-owned Marvel Studios.

Previous films have starred Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, then Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell.
