AURORA, Colo — A man was found guilty Thursday of vehicular homicide and other charges in connection with a 2022 crash that killed a woman and a 6-year-old girl.
According to court documents, Juan Pasqal-Licea, 32, was found guilty of all six charges he faced in connection with the April 8, 2022, crash in the area of North Chambers Road and East 6th Avenue.
The crash involved four cars and an electric bike, police said at the time. Two people, 41-year-old Megan Watson and 6-year-old Mira Watson, were killed. A man and a 10-year-old boy were injured.
According to court documents, Pasqal-Licea was convicted of two counts of vehicular homicide – DUI, two counts of vehicular assault – DUI, and two counts of child abuse. He is set to be sentenced Feb. 15.
