The shooting happened Thursday at a home on West 81st Avenue.
WESTMINSTER, Colo. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on a manslaughter charge after a deadly shooting Thursday afternoon at a Westminster home, the department said in a Facebook post.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to reports about the shooting at a home in the 3200 block of West 81st Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man inside the home who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
Everyone involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Fernando Arturo Gomez-Cordero, 21, was taken into custody on the charge of manslaughter.
The victim’s name will be released by the Adam’s County Coroner’s Office once his next of kin have been notified.
