Aurora Police are investigating an accidental death involving a “homemade explosive” at a dog park near Quincy Reservoir.
AURORA, Colo. — The Aurora Police Department had a crew investigating an explosion near Quincy Reservoir early Thursday morning.
According to Aurora Police, there was an accidental death involving a “homemade explosive” at the Grandview Dog Park. That’s just east of South Pitkin Street, on the south side of East Quincy Avenue.
Residents in the area heard the explosion and called police at about 12:49 a.m. The person who was killed by the explosives, a man, has not been identified.
