The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened between a car and motorcycle around 1:47 p.m. on eastbound Weld County Road 44 just east of I-25.

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — A Medina Alert was activated Wednesday night by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office to find the driver of a truck involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

The crash happened around 1:47 p.m. on eastbound Weld County Road just east of Interstate 25, said the sheriff’s office.

A person driving a motorcycle suffered serious bodily injury after the driver of a Ford Ranger single-cab truck pulled out in front of the motorcycle causing the rider to crash, the alert says.

The sheriff described the truck as an older, white Ford Ranger single-cab truck with a partial license plate with an “X” in the sequence, a round blue/green logo on the driver’s side door and a ladder on top of the truck’s bed. They said the truck was being driven by a man.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone who sees the truck or has any information on the crash to call 970-416-1985.
