CRYSTAL PALACE reportedly want to sign Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham this summer – but face competition from a Premier League rival.
The 18-year-old is understood to be Oliver Glasner’s priority target.

Bellingham, who is the younger brother of Real Madrid sensation Jude, made 45 Championship appearances this season and is regarded as an important member of the Sunderland squad.
He could now be in line for a move to the Premier League ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Bellingham.
The Eagles have made him a top transfer target going into the summer window.
Sporting director Dougie Freedman is currently attempting to convince the midfielder to make the switch.
However, Palace face competition from Brentford.
The Athletic claim Thomas Frank and his team have been monitoring Bellingham in recent months.
The teenager fits Brentford’s transfer model of signing young players with vast potential.

He can also cover multiple positions, which appeals to the Bees.
However, Frank is understood to be prioritising an upgrade to his defence in the early stages of the transfer window.
Bellingham kicked off his senior career with Birmingham in 2021 and went on to make 26 first team appearances before joining Sunderland last summer.
The youngster has also been capped five times by England’s Under-19s.
