The Bills quarterback announced the engagement Friday on his Instagram page.
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Josh Allen and actress-singer Hailee Steinfeld have been dating for some time. Now they’re going to get married.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback announced the engagement Friday on his Instagram page. He posted a photo of himself, on bended knee, with a caption that read simply “♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️”
The Bills were on a bye last week, and apparently, Allen decided to make good use of the time away to propose last Friday. Steinfeld has been more and more visible recently at events in Buffalo and Western New York.
At least one Bills player has used the bye week in back-to-back seasons to pop the big question. Last year it was tight end Dawson Knox who took to Instagram to announce his engagement, complete with a set of 10 photos.
Allen’s first game since his engagement is this weekend. Kickoff against the San Francisco 49ers is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. Sunday at Highmark Stadium. The game will be aired on NBC and Channel 2.
