JOSE MOURINHO received a spellbinding reception at a packed Fenerbahce stadium after the Turkish giants unveiled him as manager.
The ex-Manchester United and Chelsea chief was greeted with fireworks and deafening chants.
Ahead of his arrival, the club and Mourinho confirmed his appointment in a message that whipped up a frenzy amongst supporters.
The former Real Madrid manager, 61, said in a video message: “Merhaba [Hello] Fenerbahce fans. See you at Kadikoy and let’s start our journey together.”
Mourinho jetted in to Turkey after starring as a pundit for TNT Sports during Real’s 2-0 Champions League final win over Borussia Dortmnd at Wembley.
The Portuguese has been out of the dugout since Roma sacked him in January.
The ex-Tottenham boss is thought to have agreed a contract until 2026, with an option for a further season.
One viewer said of the welcome for Mourinho: “The stadium is crazy!”
Another posted: “Next season is going to be fun.”
