Three people were killed and three others were injured in the Oct. 14 shooting near Peoria Street.

DENVER — The identities of three people who were killed in a mass shooting last weekend were released by the Denver Medical Examiner’s Office on Thursday.

On Saturday, Oct. 14, Denver Police said officers responded to a call at around 1:30 a.m. about shots fired at an industrial storefront area in the 12000 block of East 39th Avenue near Peoria Street, where gunshots were said to have been fired inside and outside the building.

Investigators think the shooting took place after a party in the northeastern side of Denver.

According to the Medical Examiner, Tyrek Cameron, 22, was pronounced dead on scene at around 2 a.m. Saturday. Cameron died from a gunshot wound, and his death was ruled a homicide.

In their initial reporting, Denver Police said five other gunshot victims arrived at nearby hospitals while officers investigated the shooting.

The Medical Examiner said Tre’Joun Walker, 22, and Eric Miller, 25, died early Saturday morning at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora. Both died from gunshot wounds, and both of their deaths were ruled homicides.

On Saturday, Commander Matt Clark said the three other people who were taken to a hospital— two women and a man— sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting as of Thursday evening.
