Police found the vehicle involved in the crash but have not identified the driver.
AURORA, Colo. — One person is dead after an early morning hit-and-run crash in Aurora.
The auto-pedestrian crash happened near East Colfax Avenue and Havana Street early Friday morning, according to the Aurora Police Department.
Aurora Police first posted about the crash on the social platform X at about 5:39 a.m.
All lanes of traffic at East Colfax Avenue and Havana Street were closed Friday morning, police said. Police did not have an estimate to when the roads might reopen.
Aurora Police’s Traffic Unit was called to the scene to investigate the crash.
The vehicle involved in the crash was located nearby, police said. Aurora Police have not been able to identify the driver involved.
