Hallmark is kicking off the holiday spirit with its “Countdown to Christmas” movie lineup.
WASHINGTON — Although Christmas is still weeks away, it’s never too early to officially kick off the holiday season.
Hallmark is bringing the festive spirit to viewers with over 30 new movies for its “Countdown to Christmas” event. The annual programming block, now in its 15th year, kicks off on Oct. 18 and will end Dec. 21.
New movies will premiere on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on the Hallmark Channel at 8 p.m. Eastern, but some may have an earlier time slot. Hallmark’s Movies & Mysteries channel will also have 9 new holiday movies premiering on select Thursdays in October, November and December.
This year’s film collection includes stars like Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jordan Fisher, Ashley Greene and even cameos from Donna Kelce.
