This is a neighborhood Halloween light show like no other.

ROCKLIN, Calif. — Jackson Court is typically a normal cul-de-sac off of Jackson Drive in Rocklin. Once Halloween comes around, however, the area turns into a synchronized light and music show.

ABC10’s Mark S. Allen met up with Jackson Drive resident and creator of the light show, Keegan George.

HERE ARE 3 THINGS TO KNOW:

  1. Though George does the majority of set-up, the light show is a community project that runs through the other cul-de-sac homes.

“We attach all of our neighbors to controllers and it’s a whole court that blinks to the music,” he explained to Mark. “It’s just a really great event for everybody.”

George pays for the show himself.

“It’s all a little hobby for me. All the money comes from a little side job that I do, so it all works out well and everybody has a great time with it.”

  2. The light show features three flame throwers on Friday and Saturday nights. According to George, the show also features lamp-based lights that extend approximately 1,000 feet in the air.
  3. Jackson Court has received some complaints in the past, with the most common being that the event is a “waste of power.” According to George, that’s not the case.

“It’s really not. It’s running on two circuits and it’s all through solar power.”

  • Location:  Jackson Ct, Rocklin, CA 95765
