Ninety-six mobile homes are being evacuated at the Western Inn Trailer Court, at 2697 Country Road 308, the sheriff’s office said.
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. — Evacuations are underway due to a wildfire near a mobile home park in the Dumont area on Friday.
Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office said 96 addresses were evacuated in the Western Inn Trailer Court, which is fire is being named after, located in the 2600 block of Country Road 308.
The grass fire is located just north of Interstate 70 near the trailer park, between Lawson and Empire.
A Lookout Alert notification has been sent to residents who need to evacuate.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said crews were also working a small 100-by-100-foot wildfire near the 24000 block of Clubhouse Drive, just north of Golden.
Foothills Fire and Genesee Fire were able to get the fire contained, but smoke was possibly still visible from the highway.
