The victim, Chrystal Snow, was found at her home west of Pagosa Springs on July 2.
PAGOSA SPRINGS, Colo. — A man and his 17-year-old son have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of the teen’s mother near Pagosa Springs earlier this year, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said Monday.
Investigators said Charles Martinez, 43, and Hevon Martinez, 17, have each been booked on first-degree murder charges. The teen, who was already in custody on separate charges, will be charged as an adult in this case, CBI said.
The victim, 39-year-old Chrystal Snow, was found at her home in the 1000 block of Archuleta County Road 700, which is west of Pagosa Springs, on July 2, after someone called 911 from the scene around 2:20 a.m. but didn’t say anything. Investigators believe Snow called 911 shortly before she died.
CBI said in July that agents believed she was killed in a “targeted” shooting, and they had identified persons of interest.
