EVERTON reckon they’ve added a “world first” to their new £760million stadium.

Toffees‘ manager Sean Dyche has already claimed “big progress” is being made after touring the Bramley-Moore Dock venue – set to open next season.

The stadium is set to be finished this year and ready for next season

Dyche wore a hard hat – fitting given the pressure he’s under following two heavy defeats in the first two Premier League games.

In contrast, Everton believe the 52,888-capacity ground will be a hard act to follow – with its “innovative” features.

The club have now revealed a “third founding partner” for the Dock – and a “unique” addition to the development.

Anglo-Swiss watch brand Christopher Ward, who already sponsor Everton, will become a presenting partner of the “Dock On 1” scheme.

The Toffees claim the “new social space of bars and restaurants” will help build a “flexible matchday experience”.

Christopher Ward’s creative team are playing a role in installing a collection of facilities designed to be tailor-made for just what fans want.

“Dock on 1” will also include a showroom for the company’s watches.

It will be invitation-only on non-match days in an exclusive Northern Hub.

Richard Kenyon, Everton’s chief commercial and communications officer, said the development “represents an innovative collaboration”.

The aim is to benefit “supporters in some of the premium spaces in our new home”.

Kenyon labelled the plan “unique” and claimed it’s just one example of how the new ground can aid “commercial growth” for thhe club’s partners.

Mike France, CEO and co-founder of Christopher Ward, said the partnership is a “new high-water mark” for the brand.

He called it a “unique, world-first experience for fans of both the Toffees and his company

France added: “I’m not aware of a more exciting, innovative project that combines the worlds of premium watchmaking and elite sport.

Everton are departing Goodison Park next summer after 133 years.

The replacement venue should be completed by the end of 2024.

And having started work on it in August 2021, the Toffees expect to move in before the start of the next campaign.
