ENGLAND fans are screaming for Gareth Southgate to buy Chelsea icon Joe Cole a plane ticket for Euro 2024.

This comes after Cole, 42, nutmegged his former teammate Petr Cech inside eight minutes of Soccer Aid 2024 to put England 1-0 up.

Cole cleverly chested the ball down before brilliantly volleying the ball through the legendary Chelsea goalkeeper’s legs.

Captain Jill Scott, Arsenal coach Jack Wilshere and Jarrod Bowen’s father-in-law Danny Dyer joined Cole in rampant celebrations.

And now England fans are cheekily urging Southgate to add Cole to his Euro 2024 squad.

One fan wrote: “Get Cole on the plane!”

A second added: “JOE COLE GET YOURSELF TO THE EUROS.”

A third said: “Great finish Joe Cole!!! Rolling back the years.”

A fourth chimed in: “Get joe Cole to Germany.”

But the scoreline did not last long, after a fellow Chelsea legend equalised just 10 minutes later.

Eden Hazard scored a blistering low direct free-kick to level the score.

And to make matters worse England then conceded another just five minutes later, courtesy of former Italian striker Alessandro Del Piero.
