Travelers should check their flight status before heading to Denver’s airport.
DENVER — Dozens of flights were canceled or delayed Sunday morning at Denver International Airport.
As of 9 a.m. Sunday, there were 80 flights delayed and 51 canceled flights, according to FlightAware.
United Airlines was responsible for most, with 48 being flights canceled and another 23 delayed as of 9 a.m.
Southwest Airlines was also experiencing issues, with 39 flights delayed and another canceled as of 9 a.m.
It’s not clear if the delays and cancelations were related to Boeing 737 Max 9 planes being grounded following a midflight incident on an Alaskan Airlines flight Friday night.
