The new stores to the shopping district include a custom hat bar and a clothing boutique.

DENVER — Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood is a hot market with no shortage of retailers and boutiques, and the number of new shops continues to grow.

The shopping district is effectively fully leased, according to Cherry Creek North’s CEO and President Nick LeMasters. It has a 94% occupancy rate with the only vacancies occurring between when a store closes and another moves in, he said.

“The big challenge in Cherry Creek North is a lack of vacancy,” LeMasters said. “When we look at the neighborhood holistically, we’ve got a number of projects yet to open and come out of the ground, and many of those projects are wholly leased when they are open, which is extraordinary.”

An upcoming addition to Cherry Creek is Town Pump Provisions, a one-stop shop that will include a vintage corner store, a local ice cream shop, and a fast-casual restaurant.
