Denver Police are investigating a deadly shooting Friday night.
Police posted just after 9 p.m. that officers were investigating the shooting near the intersection of West 8th Avenue and Kalamath Street. That’s a few blocks east of Interstate 25.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Their identity and cause of death will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner after an autopsy.
Police did not release any suspect information or additional details surrounding the shooting.
