There are two potential start times and channels for the game Sunday, depending on the outcome of Game 6 between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers on Friday.
DENVER — The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves are heading for a Game 7 showdown Sunday, although the exact time and channel have not yet been determined.
According to Sports Illustrated, the tipoff time and the channel the game is on will depend on the outcome of Game 6 between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers on Friday night.
If the Knicks close out the series, Game 7 between the Nuggets and Timberwolves will be scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time and will air on ABC.
If the Pacers force Game 7, that game will happen at 1:30 p.m. Sunday on ABC, and Nuggets-Timberwolves will instead air at 6 p.m. on TNT.
The Nuggets will host the Timberwolves at Ball Arena in Denver.
The Timberwolves came storming back after dropping three straight games against the Nuggets, blowing them out by 45 points in Game 6 Thursday night to force the series-deciding Game 7.
The winner of the series will face the winner of the series between the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Mavs currently lead 3-2, and Game 6 of that series is scheduled to tipoff at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
