DENVER — The city of Denver will begin moving people from a homeless encampment on 20th and Curtis streets Thursday morning into indoor shelter,  the city announced Thursday morning.

Residents will have access to wraparound support services and a pathway to permanent housing as part of Mayor Johnston’s House1000 initiative, a release from the city says.

Johnston and District 8 Councilwoman Shontel Lewis will provide remarks and address media from 8-8:30 a.m. at the former DoubleTree hotel, 4040 Quebec St.
