IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. — An SUV and passenger van crashed head-on Thursday afternoon near Idaho Springs, resulting in closed exit ramps in both directions off Interstate 70, according to Idaho Springs Fire.
The crash happened about 12:30 p.m. on Colorado Boulevard where it goes over I-70. Thirteen people were in the two vehicles, and twelve of those suffered minor injuries, the fire department said.
