The Craig Police Department asked for the public’s help in finding the driver in the incident Wednesday afternoon.
CRAIG, Colo. — The Craig Police Department on Thursday asked for the public’s help in finding a man who attempted to lure a girl into his truck on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m. Wednesday, a man driving a black or very dark blue truck contacted a girl and attempted to persuade her to get into his truck. The girl did not know the man and ran away, police said.
Police didn’t say where the encounter happened. Craig is a town on the Western Slope.
Police described the truck as a newer black or dark blue four-door Dodge Ram with an open bed. The truck has tinted windows.
