CBI searching for 2 children last seen in Cortez

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said two missing boys were last seen in Cortez, Colorado and may be traveling with two adults in a silver Toyota Highlander.

CORTEZ, Colo. — An Endangered Missing Person Alert for two young boys missing from Montezuma County was issued by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation on Thursday. 

The two children, 13-year-old Brayden Vallejos and three-year-old Terry Gallegos are missing and they were last seen in Cortez, Colorado on Wednesday, June 5, said CBI. 

The Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office said the boys may be traveling with 42-year-old Marsha Vallejos and 56-year-old Terry Gallegos in a silver 2008 Toyota Highlander that has a broken windshield with Colorado plate EEQJ64. 

Brayden, 13, is 5 foot tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and Terry, 3, is 2 feet, .05 inches tall, 30 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. 


The sheriff’s office said if you see them or know where they are police ask you to call 911 or the sheriff’s office at 970-565-8454.
