AURORA, Colo. — Two men died after they were stabbed Monday night in Aurora, and investigators took a person of interest into custody, according to police.
The stabbing happened about 8:10 p.m. Monday near East Colfax Avenue and Lima Street, Aurora Police said. The two victims were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 58-year-old Otto Washington and 44-year-old Desmond Thomas.
Detectives detained a person of interest on Monday night. 9NEWS has reached out to Aurora Police for an update on the case.
