Nico insists he’s happy at Bilbao
Spain winger Nico Williams has tried to dampen transfer talk at Euro 2024 – amid continuing links to Arsenal.
The Athletic Bilbao star is “very happy” with his current Spanish team.
He added: “It is the club that has given me everything.
“I have clear where I will be for the pre-season. That’s all.
“I have told my agent that I do not want to know anything until the Euros is over.”
‘Gunners speak to Osimhen agent’
Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Victor Osimhen’s agent.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with the Napoli striker.
The Nigerian’s Italian club are gearing up for even more transfer speculation over their main man this summer than ever before
PSG are amongst clubs said to be monitoring the 25-year-old’s situation.
Real Madrid have also been mentioned too.
But Los Blanco have now signed PSG’s Kylian Mbappe – meaning a successful end in a two-year chase for their priority target.
Italian media reckon Osimhen is waiting on Prem clubs.
They also believe he won’t move until July at the earliest.
Gunner go?
Arsenal have told Kieran Tierney and Oleksandr Zinchenko they are free to leave, according to Graeme Bailey.
However, the Gunners would like to keep Jakub Kiwior.
Sources indicate that all three could be sold, although this is considered unlikely.
Nico Williams’ future
Arsenal target Nico Williams has spoken out about his future amid transfer interest.
He said: “I am very happy in Bilbao, it is the club that has given me everything. I have clear where I will be for the pre-season. That’s all.
“I have told my agent that I do not want to know anything until the Euros is over.”
Euro Star
Premier League target Joshua Zirkzee has been forced to cut short his Disneyland holiday after receiving a late call-up for Euro 2024.
The Bologna striker, 23, is thought to be in Arsenal’s sights this summer.
And Manchester United have also been linked after Zirkzee bagged 11 goals and four assists in Serie A.
But the youngster’s immediate thoughts are now on the Euros after getting a last-minute call from Holland boss Ronald Koeman.
The forward has been in Florida this week and revealed on Instagram he had been living it large in Orlando.
Zirkzee visited several theme parks as he enjoyed the sights and sounds of Walt Disney World. He then toasted the occasion with a Butterbeer at the Harry Potter section of Universal Studios.
Reports in Holland claimed that on Wednesday, Zirkzee headed south to the party capital Miami.
But he is now taking a jet straight back across the Atlantic to join his compatriots in Germany.
