Pat Nevin has joined a host of other pundits to predict Arsenal’s season.
He believes they can win the Premier League but still thinks Manchester City are the favourites.
He told In the Zone: “Arsenal can win the Premier League, yes, the answer is they can. If I had to really push it, I wouldn’t be putting my money on it at the moment, but it’s capable.
“Look, it was only two points last year. It’s nothing. I mean it is one game, one bad game.
“Still Manchester City are the team you need to beat but they are getting older each season.
“And Kevin De Bruyne, one of the greatest players we’ve ever seen in the English game, he’s getting older, he’s picking up some injuries, he’s still brilliant.
“There was that little period with Arsenal during Christmas time. If they didn’t have that wee wobble, remember that game? I think it was one decent performance on the team, Declan Rice.
“Declan, he played really well but it looked as if he was playing against the opposition on his own. The whole team had fallen but they got it back.”
