ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting involving sheriff’s deputies Wednesday afternoon in Arapahoe County.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media about a heavy police presence in the 4500 block of South Himalaya Circle. That’s in the area just south of East Quincy Avenue.

They later posted an update that deputies had been involved in a shooting and that one person had been taken to a hospital.
