The Aurora Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding 6-year-old Aaliyah Chance.
AURORA, Colo. — An Amber Alert was issued Sunday night for a 6-year-old girl who was inside a car when it was stolen from a gas station in Aurora, police said.
The Aurora Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding 6-year-old Aaliyah Chance. She is described as a Black girl with black hair and brown eyes. She’s about 3 feet 8 inches tall and 50 pounds. Police said she has braids and is wearing a rainbow jacket.
Police said Aaliyah was in a 2015 Jeep Compass when it was stolen from a gas station in the area of East Iliff Avenue and South Havana Street in Aurora around 9 p.m. The car has Colorado license plate number CQV 601 and has a broken back passenger tail light.
No photo of Aaliyah was immediately available. Aurora police provided the below photo of the suspect.


Anyone who has seen Aaliyah or the vehicle is asked to call 911, or call Aurora police at 303-627-3100.
