Police say the suspect is known to be heavily armed and is dangerous. They believe the child is in imminent danger.

VICTOR, Idaho — The Teton County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is looking for a man from Victor, ID. who investigators suspect is responsible for a homicide and the kidnapping of his infant son. The suspect is “known to be heavily armed” and is dangerous, according to police statement.

TCSO is looking for Jeremy Albert Best, 48, the husband of a woman found dead Thursday night. Police believe Jeremy abducted his 10-month-old son, Zeke Gregory Best, and fled the area.

Just before midnight on Thursday, Teton County deputies were dispatched to a home located at 4600 Skyline Loop in Victor – where they discovered a deceased woman. She has been identified as 38-year-old Kali Jean Randall.

Her death is being investigated as a homicide by the Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho State Police (ISP). ISP said Jeremy Best is a suspect in the homicide.

An AMBER Alert was issued Friday morning for the child, who was last seen at the Skyline Loop residence. Idaho State Police (ISP) stated they believe that the child is in imminent danger.

Zeke is a 1-foot-tall baby boy, white and weighs 20 pounds. His hair and eye colors were not provided in the alert. Police had no information about the baby’s clothing.

Jeremy, the suspect and father, is 48 years old with brown hair and green eyes. He is white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 245 pounds and police say he has “graying” facial hair.

Police say Jeremy is armed and they urge the public to not approach him.

ISP believe Jeremy and Zeke are traveling in a 1995 black Chevy Tahoe with Idaho license plate no. 1T39349. Police say they do not know the direction of travel. However, the suspect does have connections in Alpine and Jackson Hole – both in Wyoming.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of this child, contact the Teton County Sheriff’s Office at 208-354-2323 or 911 immediately.
