Westminster Police said the shooting took place in the area of 92nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard at around 7 p.m. Saturday.
WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Police are looking for suspects after a deadly shooting outside a KFC restaurant in Westminster Saturday night.
The Westminster Police Department said a man was shot in the parking lot of the KFC at Federal Boulevard and West 92nd Avenue at around 7 p.m.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Police said there were possibly two suspects who ran from the scene. Westminster PD and Adams County Sheriff’s Office K9 teams are searching the area.
The eastbound lanes of West 92nd Avenue are shut down at Federal. Police are asking drivers to use West 88th Avenue or West 104th Avenue as alternate routes.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 303-658-4360 and select option 2.
