The crash happened near West Colfax Avenue and Garrison Street.
LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A woman was killed and two other people were injured after a multi-vehicle crash along West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood.
According to Lakewood Police, a woman died in the crash that occurred near the intersection with Garrison Street.
Police said another woman and a man were also taken to the hospital as a result of the crash.
Footage from SKY9 showed that a truck involved in the crash appeared to have traveled off the roadway into the nearby Safeway parking lot where it came to rest against a pole in the lot.
Security video obtained by 9NEWS showed a small white car enter the intersection where it was then struck by a truck. That vehicle continued toward the parking lot.
The exact circumstances of the crash are unknown at this time, but the intersection remains closed as police investigate.
