GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo. — A mudslide forced Colorado Highway 82 in Garfield County to close Sunday morning.

Carbondale Fire District said about 300 feet of mud slide onto the highway due to a broken irrigation line at mile marker 14 east of Carbondale.

Traffic is being diverted to County Road 100 through Carbondale, and there was no estimated time given for when the road would reopen.
