DALLAS — Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic was spotted driving his new car and stuck in traffic on his way to the American Airlines Center for Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Doncic was seen driving on the Dallas North Tollway just north of the arena. The spectacle of Doncic being stuck in Dallas traffic led to some jokes on Mavs Twitter.
Doncic arrived to the American Airlines Center in the “Midnight Racer” themed 1968 Chevrolet Camaro.
“The Midnight Racer colorway draws inspiration from Luka’s late-night drives home after a game,” Mavericks officials told WFAA. “For Luka, late-night drives are a sanctuary and a time for introspection. Emblematic of those late nights, this colorway features swirls of pink and purple plus a pop of mint.”
