Yogis can start their day with an exhilarating workout at the most awe-inspiring venue in the world: Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
MORRISON, Colo. — This summer, Colorado yogis can do a downward dog at sunrise in one of the most beautiful settings in the state.
Yoga on the Rocks is coming back to Red Rocks Amphitheatre this June, July and August.
“Fitness and Films on the Rocks — these are some of our state’s most one-of-a-kind experiences,” said Red Rocks spokesperson Brian Kitts. “You haven’t checked off your Colorado summer bucket list until you’re left breathless after a Red Rocks workout at sunrise, or indulge in a sweet treat as the sun sets and a film rolls at dusk.”
Classes are at 7 a.m. each Saturday and last one hour. Attendees should bring their own yoga mat and a water bottle.
Bilingual sessions, led in both Spanish and English, will also return this summer.
Tickets go on sale Monday, April 29, at 10 a.m. at redrocksonline.com.

The SnowShape Winter Fitness Series is also coming back for its sixth season with sessions in September and October, getting winter sports enthusiasts in shape for the winter ski and snowboard season.

Tickets for all fitness events go on sale, Monday, April 29, at 10 a.m. and usually sell out.
Film on the Rocks is also returning this summer with a lineup of movies planned for a full amphitheater schedule, Denver Film and Denver Arts & Venues announced Friday.
