Police said the driver left the scene of the crash.
DENVER — Two pedestrians, both students, were seriously injured when they were hit by a driver near Montbello High School Tuesday afternoon.
The Denver Police Department said the driver did not stay on the scene of the crash, which happened around 4:15 p.m. in the area of Andrews Drive and Crown Boulevard. No description of the suspect or vehicle was immediately available.
A Denver Public Schools spokesperson said the teens, both students at Montbello, were in the crosswalk when they were hit.
