Police are looking for two people who were in a pickup truck that was involved.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Commerce City police have released video of a hit-and-run crash that injured two women Thursday night.

The Commerce City Police Department said on Facebook that officers responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision in the 7000 block of Kearney Court just after 10:30 p.m. Thursday. That is near East 72nd Avenue and Highway 2.

Police said two women were getting out of an SUV when a white Ford F-150 with a couch in the truck bed quickly backed up and hit both women.

The two people in the truck took off — one drove away and the other ran — before officers got there.

Police said both women were injured, one of them very seriously.

“WARNING: This video is graphic, disturbing and hard to watch. But we feel it’s imperative to release it in order for you to understand how incomprehensible this crime is and why we want to locate the person responsible as soon as possible,” the Facebook post said.

Anyone who knows where the truck is or the identity of the driver or the passenger is asked to call 303-289-3626 immediately.
