WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Two roadside workers were injured in a Tuesday morning crash in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near Ward Road, according to police.
Wheat Ridge Police said the workers’ injuries are serious but not considered to be life-threatening. The crash happened about 11:20 a.m., police said.
Several lanes of eastbound I-70 were closed, according to WRPD. Traffic cameras in the area showed a traffic backup. The interstate fully reopened about 1 p.m.
The Wheat Ridge Police Department is investigating a crash on I-70 that caused serious injuries to two roadside workers.
