DENVER — Denver Public Schools announced Wednesday afternoon that they’ll be closed Thursday due to a forecasted winter storm.

A winter weather storm system is expected to arrive in Colorado on Wednesday evening, with impacts continuing to affect the state on Thursday and Friday.
The National Weather Service said to expect 9 to 18 inches of snow along the Interstate 25 corridor in Denver, Golden and Boulder between Wednesday and Friday, with feet of snow falling in the foothills.
Widespread snow is likely across Colorado’s Front Range and Interstate 25 corridor. Travel will be especially difficult in the foothills.
