A man was stabbed to death, and another man was shot and killed Friday night, Denver Police said.

DENVER — Investigators are working separate homicide cases that occurred late Friday night in Denver.

Denver Police first posted about a shooting that happened in the 9800 block of East Girard Avenue in southeast Denver just after 11 p.m. A man was found with at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

About an hour later, DPD said a man was stabbed in the 4900 block of North Ursula Street in the Montbello neighborhood. Police said the man died at the scene.

No suspect information was released in either homicide.

Police are asking anyone with information on either of the cases to reach out and submit tips to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tips can also be sent in anonymously at metrodenvercrimestoppers.com.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
